Produced by Banijay Live Studio (which holds the Black Mirror rights) together with Univrse, a studio specialising in untethered, interactive VR, this is a hybrid physical-and-digital format rather than a straightforward escape room or immersive theatre piece. It uses an entirely new story, independent of any specific episode from the series, but built from the same unease: your face and voice are scanned to build a personal avatar, and a VR-driven AI companion called LifeAgent starts anticipating your decisions before you make them. Facial and voice data is used only for the experience and automatically deleted after four weeks.
The narrative unfolds physically as well as digitally — groups move through real sets designed as Phaethon Labs' offices while wearing VR headsets, so the boundary between the constructed environment and the virtual one blurs deliberately as the story escalates.
