Madrid gets two arena concerts from Muse as the British trio extend The Wow! Signal Europa Tour into 2027. They are the band's first shows in Spain since headlining Mad Cool in 2025 and the first chance to hear their tenth album indoors, with a production Matt Bellamy has described as a step up from the summer amphitheatre run.
What it is
The Wow! Signal, released in June 2026 on Warner Records, is Muse's tenth studio album. Its title comes from a 72-second radio burst detected in 1977 from the direction of Sagittarius, which the astronomer who found it marked with a handwritten "Wow!" on the printout. NME rated it the band's best album in 20 years.
The tour opened in North America in July 2026. On the first night Matt Bellamy, Chris Wolstenholme and Dominic Howard played 24 songs in about 1 hour 50 minutes, on a stage built around LED screens, lasers and CO2 cannons. Bellamy has said the European arena shows are planned as a more elaborate production: ideas floated in interviews include iceberg-like structures, the spaceship from the album cover and laser work based on hexagons.
Madrid comes near the end of a January 2027 extension that starts in Lisbon and passes through Bordeaux and Lyon, with Valencia's Roig Arena three days after the second night.
Why it's worth attending
When Muse played two nights at this arena in May 2016, on the Drones World Tour, around 30,000 tickets went in two hours. Their most recent Madrid appearance was a headline slot at Mad Cool 2025; these dates put the same band in a hall of just over 18,000, where lasers and screens work at close range. Bellamy has also said the group is touring in short batches instead of one long world tour, so each run covers few cities: Madrid and Valencia are the only Spanish stops announced.
Muse Madrid tickets: prices and on-sale dates
Tickets for both nights start at €73.50, the starting price reported by Spanish music media when the dates were announced. Prices by zone (floor, lower stands, upper tiers and any VIP packages) are published when sales open.

How to choose the best seats at Movistar Arena
The Movistar Arena is a steep bowl: a flat floor (pista) ringed by numbered sectors on several levels, from the lower stands (grada baja) to the upper tiers (grada alta). With the stage at one end, the usual arena layout, the choice comes down to four options.
- Pista: the closest point to the band. The floor is flat, so beyond the front rows the view depends on height and on arriving early.
- Lower stands facing the stage: the fullest seated view. Head-on and raised above the floor crowd, these sectors take in the stage, screens and lasers in one frame.
- Lower stands at the sides: the nearest seats to the stage, seen at an angle. The sectors right beside it have the sharpest angle and can lose part of the screens behind speakers or rigging.
- Upper tiers: usually the lowest prices. They are steep and further back, with a wide view of the light show; in the top rows the screens do most of the work.
The venue's 3D seat view shows the approximate sightline from any sector, row and seat, and is worth opening next to the ticket map before paying. The map for these concerts, including whether the floor is standing or seated, appears in the purchase flow.
